ABOUT

My paintings are abstract, layered and infused with color. In some, I juxtapose different ‘worlds’ by creating tension between surface and depth and between differentiation and integration, yet seek to resolve the seeming polarities through pictorial balance. Differentiation and integration are strong forces within my life and work.

I was born and raised in Switzerland, and currently live and work in Oyster Bay, New York. My early professional training was at the School of Art in Zurich. I then earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Fine Art at New York University. My husband and I lived in Frankfurt, London and Zurich before moving our family to New York.
